WaterVal-Onder
The name refers to the Elands River falls. The hamlet is below the falls. This hamlet was established when the Delagoa Bay to the ZAR was built in 1895. Most of the railway constructions no longer exist.
The Five Arch Bridge

The Five Arch Bridge over the Dwaalheuwel Spruit – This bridge was built by the NZASM. The bridge was opened to traffic on 20 June 1894 and the rack railway ran over it until its use was discontinued. It was then converted to a road bridge. Proclaimed a National Monument in 1963.
Krugerhof

Krugerhof – With the approach of the British forces during the 2nd ABW the ZAR Government seat was moved to Machadodorp. Due to ill health President Paul Kruger went to live in this house on 30 June 1900. The Executive Committee visited him daily by train. This was his last place of residence until 28 August, leaving for Lourenco Marques and on to Europe. Proclaimed a National Monument in 1962.

Black Eagle Bridge

Black Eagle Bridge – N4 – east of Waterval-Onder – NZASM bridge. The current steel girders manufactured by Cochrane and Co in 1909.
