HUMANSDORP
Laid out on the farm Rheeboksfontein in 1849. Named after Matthys Gerhardus Human the owner of the farm who donated the grounds for the church. First name Human se dorp. Administered by a church council and then by a village management board in 1896. It attained municipality status in 1900.
St Mark’s Anglican Church
St Mark’s Anglican Church, cnr Main and Voortrekker St – Built in 1898. A monument on the premises commemorates those who died during WW11 (1939-1945)
Watermill
Watermill, just off the R330 leaving town – built 1n 1870 by Roger Metelerkamp. It operated until 1905 when the narrow-gauge railway line was built over its land.. The building was destroyed in a fire. Only the ruins remain
