JOUBERTINA
Town on the Wabooms River in the Langkloof. On the R62 Road. It was founded in 1907 and named after WA Joubert, who was minister of the Dutch Reformed Church in Uniondale between 1878 and 1893.
Dutch Reformed Church
Dutch Reformed Church – Church St – The cornerstone was laid by Ds PJ Retief on 11 April 1910. It was inaugurated on 8 February 1911. An obelisk marks the grave of Ds Adriaan LJ van Rensburg who was a minister at this congregation and died on 24 December 1924. On the premises a monument which commemorates the centenary of the Great Trek on 2 September 1938.

Railway Station
Railway Station – on the narrow-gauge Avontuur railway. The line was built by the Cape Government Railways (CGR). The line was opened to Avontuur on 1 January 1907.
Steam Locomotive
Steam Locomotive – Garrett class NG G13 no NG80 – Manufactured by Hannoversche Mashinebau (Hanomag) designed to become the standard 2 feet (610mm) narrow gauge Garrett locomotive in South Africa. Delivered to South Africa in 1928. It was in service until 1973. It is plinthed and in scrap condition.
