Winterton
Laid out in 1905 and was originally named Springfield. It was renamed in 1910 in honour of the Secretary for Agriculture in Natal, HD Winter. Administered by a health committee since 1947.

Marianne Church Ruins
Marianne Church Ruins – on the farm Doveton. 1852-1876 This was the second oldest DR church in Natal. Named after the wife of the Dutch Reformed Minister, Dr Faure

Memorial Stone
Memorial Stone – relocated at the Winterton museum grounds – On 17 January 1900 British Cavalry under Major General Lord Dundonald crossed the Tugela river. It was in flood and many men washed down stream. Despite efforts of Trooper Sclanders, Capt Tremayne and Lt Wise, one soldier drowned.
